Last year they had alot of basketball games showing ISU on local channels. Any word for this year? Will the opener on friday be on tv?

That is up to the individual stations that pay the money to be members of the Cyclone Television Network (CTN).
For instance, KIMT in Mason City used to be part of the CTN. Not enough sponsors stepped forward, and KIMT no longer shows ISU games as part of the CTN.
If you go to the MBB schedule on cyclones.com, the games marked CTN will be televised by the CTN.
