I think it is easier to manage for fans but not nearly as easy to execute when you consider snow, wind, cold and darkness that the people having to do the actual scanning would need to deal with... There aren't many places colder on earth in late January or early February that the Hilton Lots.I thought they said they would be digital this year, which would be way easier to manage...but I noticed the same thing so called the ticket office and they confirmed parking passes are going out in the mail...
Also, with basketball the lot fills up in a very short timeframe since there isn't much tailgating. When I try to imagine if all parking was scanned to enter, i think what i picture is similar to what it looks like getting out of the lots after the game. I would probably opt to just park in the free lots to avoid the hassle.I think it is easier to manage for fans but not nearly as easy to execute when you consider snow, wind, cold and darkness that the people having to do the actual scanning would need to deal with... Got mine today, moved back a level. WTF, ISU is making this really hard for me to keep donating. Moved to C5 this year.
The huge swathes of empty parking lots never cease to piss me off. Condense the lots and let more people have decent parking.
Yes, exactly. I park at the football stadium as a gold donor and walk past mostly empty parking.
I was actually wondering if ‘mostly empty parking lots’ actually is part of the benefit of the donor lots vs public lots. It seems like donor lots we can get right in without fighting the lines. And we can find a spot quickly and get out faster since cars aren’t jammed in tight.Yes, exactly. I park at the football stadium as a gold donor and walk past mostly empty parking.
You can only get out “faster” because of all the season ticket holders/donors who think it is OK to move to the club course at the under 4 TO…I was actually wondering if ‘mostly empty parking lots’ actually is part of the benefit of the donor lots vs public lots. At least that’s my theory. Otherwise most of the public lots are closer than the donor lots. So it kind of makes sense.
That's odd since the map and take both clearly show director's level will have parking in lots C1/C2. My uncle's are reserved by stall #. You should get one of those plus one of "best available". Are you in a partnership donating at the directors level and one of the partners has taken the reserved pass?I received my passes in the mail today. I’m at the Directors level and was moved back to C-4 and I find it irritating. Last year, I was in C-3 and it was never close to full. Victory is allocated all of B-1 and C-3. I can’t believe they’ll even be half full.
Oops, I’m Captains. I’ve edited it. Thanks. That's odd since the map and take both clearly show director's level will have parking in lots C1/C2. My uncle's are reserved by stall #. They really do need to consider making A3 and B3 as donor lots.Got mine today, moved back a level. WTF, ISU is making this really hard for me to keep donating. Moved to C5 this year.
