Basically Oswalt wants out, to a contender, anyone... Houston is throwing out alot of 'demands' that he has, but most of them are just talk because they aren't able to make a deal... Nothing solid on any teams, but I would say Philly is the fave

I heard that he wants his option picked up but if traded to Cards he would be willing to defer some of that money. I heard the Astros are wanting a ton for him and not willing to pay anything. I would be shocked if he gets traded untill atleast the offseason

Thanks for the info.........are the Twins looking to make any moves??

I go to www.benmaller.com for rumors, it has all sports. I believe he used to, or might still have, a national radio show on Fox Sports Radio. It basically is a list of different newspaper articles from across the country.

If you want all the feeds from ALL the fantasy baseball sites, including MLBTradeRumors...

TheRotoFeed.com

Amazing. Best site for fantasy baseball info.

Derek Lee won't accept a trade: Chicago Cubs' Derrek Lee tells team he won't accept a trade - ESPN Chicago Idiot, Cubs should tell him either accept one or we'll sit you on the bench. Not sure why he wants to play out a lost season instead of go help a playoff contender? I highly doubt the Cubs resign him after this year either.

Brilliant idea. Sit a guy who has given his heart and soul to the team for the last five years. Nothing like burning bridges while players are on there way out....

He has the right to stay, he has earned that right. It wouldn't save the cubs that much money anyways....

Agreed. Also the Angels are like 7.5 games back in the division and even further back in the wild card, they are a long shot to even make the playoffs, it's not like he's turning down a great shot at the world series. Lee has had some great seasons for the Cubs, and it's not like the Cubs have some hot shot 1B prospect who Lee is stopping from playing, they owe it to him to let him finish out the seaon in Chi if he wants to.

Ask the Mets how much of a lead 7.5 games is with this much season left.

But yeah, their shot at the Wild Card is slim to none. Yankees/Rays pretty much have that taken care of.

His current team is only 9.5 back. Is it worth uprooting your whole life for two months to pick up two games in the standings?

I'm just saying that 7.5 with 2 months to go isn't that much. On paper, yeah it looks huge, but if you sweep a series from the other team, you can pick up 3 games like that. The Red Sox are 7 out in the east if I remember right, but I doubt they're throwing in the towel on the season.
