The Sandlot is a great movie, but I have no interest in re-watching it. I'd happily watch Moneyball if it came on
The Sandlot is a baseball movie that captures baseball and something so much deeper.
It can be argued that it’s not a baseball movie.
I’m sure that most could be. (Moneyball and Major League are pretty much “baseball movies”).
The nostalgia of growing up in small town america before the tech explosion.

Moneyball does the best job of capturing the emotions and feeling of baseball. Its actual baseball scenes are also the best by far. Clear #1 in my opinion
80s'/90's kid here when baseball seemed to be the biggest thing so the neighborhood/area kids would get together for baseball and tackle football games.
On our farm the yard and sheds formed a perfect kid-sized baseball diamond and we'd mow out the baselines.
It all looks the same including the fields we actually played little league on so the ending when they all fade from the sandlot, and Benny and Smalls still have that connection in the major league game hits hard.
This is pretty much my list, maybe switch Major League and Moneyball. I've never seen Bill or even Bull Durham before.
