Well, he actually has 4 Big 12 tournament titles, and two sweet 16 appearances. Iowa hasn't won a big 10 tournament title since 2006 and is 3-12 since then in that tournament. Iowa also hasn't made a sweet 16 since 1999. So as far as basketball goes, we're doing pretty well. So far, we've exceeded expectations in football and continuing to rise.
In the last 10 years, Iowa State has won 7/10 in mens basketball. Iowa has won 7/10 in football.
Beating the snot out of Iowa this year and the foreseeable future is one thing that makes us a better program. We have more excitement, better coaching, and more talent on the roster. We are just positioned better. We have a better AD and not some stale program with a washed up coach and his soon to be new head coach dbag of a son.
My (educated) Hawk friends think Barta executes the WORST coaching contracts ever. LOL
What has Pollard done? Football @ Trice attracts nearly 60,000/game, opposed to 35,000 the season prior to his arrival.

Barta has done what any of us would do. Take money that comes in from what has been established and TV contracts....not sure he's had to do much to change anything.

Every program with the exception of wrestling is in a better place now than when JP got the job. I don't believe the same can be said for Barta.
When opposing fans cheer a move it typically isn't the right thing to be doing. You would think Iowa fans would know this from all the 4th and 1 punts Kirk makes happen from the opponents 40.
