Barkley Hill injured

They should switch to the run and shoot. Pretty clear they aren't meant to have any running backs.

Well, karma is a *****.

pretty soon there will be a thread on HN about how all clone fans are wishing for a kid to blow out his knee because he switched his commitment so he could play as a true freshman at a BCS school instead of sitting for 2 or 3 years.

I too hope this is nothing serious. I can't imagine anyone wishing injuries on anyone.

Has to make one wonder if they really want to be a RB at Iowa though? I've never seen such a cursed position on a team in my life. Very strange.

And I don't see how anyone could blame a young man for wanting to go somewhere where they have the opportunity to play right away. At ISU this year, he would have been buried on the depth chart behind Shontrelle Johnson, James White, Jeff Woody, DeVondrick Nealy, and Robert Standard. That's 6th string folks. Any competitive kid that truly loves playing football would want a chance to play sooner if possible.

Saw this on twitter. Injuries are not uncommon, even though it seems RBs at Iowa are cursed. Hopefully nothing too serious. If it is, I guess the redshirt decision is sort of made for them.

Relishing a college kid blowing his knee out. Klassy.

Yes, because no one on hawk boards ever relished in an ISU injury. And no one on hawk boards have openly wished a cyclone player would have a career ending injury (see Christopherson threads).

Yeah, and it's just as dooshy when it happens on an Iowa board as when it happens here.

Missing your point.

I guess I haven't seen you or any other hawk fan giving similar responses when it happens there. Perhaps you should go police your own before telling ISU fans about being classy.
