Barbara Walters dead at 93

I watched 20/20 with my parents all the time growing up. RIP.
She certainly had quite the career, but I feel like a 93 year old dying is not a "WTF" moment.
WTF 2022? Not to be crass, but she was 93. Great life, great journalist, great woman, but weather it was 2022, 2023 or 2024, one of them was going to get her. I wouldn’t consider this a WTF kind of passing.
The WTF was more for the fact that 2022 has taken a lot of celebrities from my childhood. That’s all. It couldn’t have waited literally 2 more days….?
Dawn Wells from Gilligan's Island was 12/30/20 So this third straight year of a major female celebrity passing before the end of the year.
Magazines had articles published about Betty White turning 100. She never made it.
Not sure how old you are, but wait til next year. And not to be a downer, but you just lose more from here on out. The real shocker comes when the celebrity from when you were young passes and you were older than them.
I really don't get when people are upset a celebrity they never meet dies. Its life.
Many celebrities also bring joy to our lives, and it is indeed a sad moment when they will no longer be around.
Its a different kind of upset than losing someone close to you, but still valid.
