Not sure if it's B-Ross, or B. Ross, or something else, but what's the story with this guy? He is obviously (and awesomely) an Iowa State fan, which is great to see on Soundoff. We have some "neutral" local media guys that post here like Hassel and Perrault, and some "not-so-neutral" guys like Jon Miller, but I have never seen anything from B-Ross. He is always talking up Iowa State and has his cave decked out with an I-State flag tonight, as he has in the past. In addition to his affinity to I-State, he seems like a cool guy. Anyone know anything about him? He needs to become a Fanatic!

Grew up a Clone fan in Waterloo, moved to Des Moines, got a good job, and does a great job. He's a very cool dude.

Speaking of SH, he hasn't posted in a while. Wonder if he couldn't handle the cyclone smack talk

I'm too tired to try to figure out if you're joking or not, but I'm pretty sure SH changed his name to SplitIdentity. Same stupid dog avatar, and he has like a million posts.

Let's get back to discussing B-Ross.

I hear he posts on here as clone11. :biglaugh::wink::jimlad:

I know Brian (B Ross) and Clone11 and they are certainly not the same guy. Also, B Ross' son, Terril, is at Waldorf (Brian's alma mater) after two seasons at NIACC.

B. Ross makes not bones about his allegience to ISU and distain for the Cubs. He's a solid guy. The jury is still out on Clone11. Yeeeeeep!

I'm not so sure Hassel is completely nuetral. He's from Eastern Iowa and went to St. Ambrose so chances are he probably has a little Hawkeye in him.

And Matt Perrault may not be pro-Hawkeye by any means but he did cover the Huskers for about 4 years and not exactly sure about his background other than he's orginally from Massachusetts but pretty sure he's still a little pro-Huskers.

I like em both though and both are pretty fair in their views about the Cyclones so they are fine in my book. I don't know what we'd do without either because Hassel is hilarious and Perrault is a fresh breath of air after having to listen to Martha Tirrell before him.

I have run into him at a bar before ( I believe it was Zimm's). He was just sitting there chating with the bartender. My buddies and I went over and had a good convo with him. We ended up doing some shots with him. Anyway he enjoys hearing from Sound-off fans.
