I am just going to make fun of Iowa for playing the last pick in the Prime Time League in real games.

By the way Iowa nice home crowd for Illinois

There I feel a little better but not much

I might just go to the UNI games for the rest of the year!

Should have had 3 tournovers but the official scorer protected him

Also gave up back to back 3's in 6 minutes total lol

Cocky in hs for sure, but I know he is still the same way. I have some friends who actually know him and that say he is a "wannabe" (I'm sure you can read between the quotations and figure out what I am trying to say without being offensive) I can't stand guys like him who think they are hot **** and can't back it up. Plus he looks like a girl with those HUGE child-bearing hips he has!:eek:

He is just a walk-on filling some depth and giving guys breathers im sure you throw our walk-ons in they wouldn't fair to well
 
At least the kid plays hard. I don't really understand the point of giving a kid a hard time about playing D1 basketball, whether he's good, bad or indifferent. With a few exceptions, there isn't a single D1 player on this forum or at least someone who played at that level. So, please, STFU and DIAF. Thanks.

This is refreshing to see. After watching and listening to the Cyclones last night at look at Iowa and see that we could be worse off. No matter how bad we are we are still gonna put people in the stands. Unlike Iowa who can't fill a place even with free tickets. "You couldn't hit a fan if you threw a baseball any where at Carver."

If things keep going how they are I am sure the stands wont be as full as they could be.
 
So you are making fun of an overachieving kid who looks like he's 12 to make yourself feel better about your underachieving team who has its' whole fan base up in arms? (seems to be quite a few threads from bashing McD to the team quitting) And as far as saying that the kid is only where he is because of his dad, that's life. It happens all of the time that someone either gets to take over the family business or gets some kind of break because daddy pulled some strings. You may remember the last President of the United States for example. Maybe instead of a lame thread making fun of a kid we should just start a thread as to who we as Hawk and Cyclone fans are going to root for in the NCAA tournament. I have found that watching a game or tournament is always more fun if you have a team that you are rooting for and we all know that neither of us is going to be there. GO HAWKS!!
