MLB: ARod Tested Positive for Steroids in '03

Wow - just Wow. I really thought he avoided all that crap and I kinda admired him for his ability and sort of low-key approach.

Now in the last 6-months he's got some bad rap: the guy's been hitting on Madonna and hitting the Juice.

Later A-rhoid, so much for beating Bond's record.

Last 6 months? The guy has been a tool for a long time. He just plays the "What me?" card very well.

I didn't know what to believe and I admit I had more angst against Bonds and really hoped A-Rhoid would be the one to eclipse the HR record and help all of us forget Bonds.

"Where have you gone Hank Aaron, our nation turns its lowly eyes to you"

I would not be surprised that a lot of HOF players , especially players from the 1980's and 1990's juiced like Kirby Puckett, Tony Gwynn, Dave Winfield, and Ricky Henderson.

Matter of fact, none of this really surprises me anymore with pro athletes. They all need to find ways to stay on top for as long as possible and steroids is just another way to do it.

When there is as much money on the line in salaries like there is (and has been) there really isn't much incentive NOT to take steroids.

I'd take some public humiliation and hate in exchange for $10+ million per year. Yes, please.

The only problem is that steroids will always be ahead of testing and we'll never know everyone who was abusing steroids.

I think it's about to get a lot worse too. If everything comes out, it will ruin the game of baseball because I guarantee him and Bonds weren't the only ones.

I'm worried that Pujols will be one of the guys that has tested positive. That would really be the game killer. The best player in baseball. I also think we haven't seen the worse.

I wonder how long the NFL will be able to keep everything hush hush untill the windfall starts there too...

I wouldn't be shocked at all to see names like Pujols, Ortiz, Ramirez, Lee, Howard, etc. I don't want to see it, but at the same time, wouldn't be surprised even the least bit. It's a sad day when we can't even watch professional sports anymore without wondering how many athletes are juiced.

At least here we have Bryan Petersen. There's no way he's on the juice:yes::yes::yes:
