Day 1 and 2 have not disappointed thus far. Regular season NHL is meh, but the playoffs are fantastic.

the tension and energy of a great series of playoff hockey is pretty great. and i dont even really like hockey.

Yep Stanley Cup hockey is the best. This Tampa Bay - Florida game is incredible.
I've found that someone is either REALLY into hockey..... or not. No real middle ground.
Playoff hockey is the best. Playoffs are all about who wants it more. Talent, skill, etc are all totally secondary.
I don’t think it’s the best (that belongs to the NFL), but what it does do very well is it gets people who ordinarily don’t care about hockey to watch. And yes, these first two days have absolutely delivered.

I've tried to get into hockey but I just can't do it. Close postseason baseball is probably the best for me but NFL is right there. Last year's Dodger Rays WS Game 4 was probably one of the best baseball games I've ever watched, not counting Game 7 of the 2016 WS
