Current Standings
Baylor 15-0
ISU 10-5
TTU 9-5
OU 9-6
OSU 8-7
WVU 8-7
KU 7-7
KSU 4-11
UT 3-12
TCU 1-14

In the month of February.
ISU 5-1 (beat #3, #4, ##8, #8, 9 and lost to #6)
OSU 4-3 (beat #4, #6, #8, #10 and lost to #1, #4 and #10)

So knowing this, can someone tell me why OSU is the only non Baylor Big 12 team ranked in the AP poll?

Now I expect ISU to be in there tomorrow, but this is just stupid. ISU had won 4 straight including two wins over the top 4 in standings, but lost to WVU and got dropped from the poll.

On Feb. 11, OSU was ranked #25 even though they had gone 2-4 over the previous four games and had just lost to OU. On Feb 4, OSU had lost 3 of their last 4 including to WVU and KSU and was ranked #22.

I don't think OSU has been un-ranked at anytime this conference season while 3 teams ahead of them in standings have been voted in and out repeatedly. Why does the media have a love affair with them. What are they seeing that I'm not?

Ranking are subjective. I wouldn't get bent out of shape over it.

I was just asking if they are seeing something I don't. Sure they beat us, but as much as I wear those Cardinal and Gold glasses, I'm just not seeing how them beating us is the reason they are ranked above better teams.

I'm just lost on how this could happen. I know it is subjective and a matter of opinion but it is not normal to have a team fifth in the standings ranked (with only 3 games left) ranked and the team second in standings not ranked. This is just weird.

On another note, what is going on with the Big 12 that only two teams are ranked? I know that we have all been beaten up pretty bad in conference play, but Big 12 has been boosting it's WBB for a while. That's a hard hit.

Let's see what this week brings. I'm sure we'll be back in again. If they win out (including beating OSU), I don't see how we aren't the next highest ranked Big 12 team.

The is a bigger issue that should be addressed. The Big 12 is a tough conference and is feeding in each other. The voters obviously don't get that. So each loss the teams inflict upon each other costs the conference in stature.

ISU back in AP at 23. I wonder if the early hype for OU and KU may have hurt the conference- their falls from grace pull us all down.

Perhaps a bigger question is also why isnt TTU ranked as well? Their record is better than OSU's IMHO.

and, I was hoping KU would beat them yesterday....pretty evenly matched match ups to finish. the @TCU has me worried, they are playing good ball right now at home, with some close games.

TTU has:

OU, OSU and at KSU

We have:

KU, OSU, and at TCU
