I am no longer a Chiefs fan. I have better uses for my time.

28 point lead not enough? I’m rooting for another team.

Funny how many Chiefs fans came out of the woodwork this year. They will be gone when they go 7-9 or 8-8 next year with a tougher schedule.

How have you made it this long as a Cyclone fan if you cant take the Chiefs losing in the first round of the playoffs?

Bandwagon or not, I wont judge you. What do you have? Any cool neon man cave signs or anything like that?

Chiefs are my 2nd favorite team after the Colts. Really glad Indy pulled it out because I don't think the Chiefs would have had a shot after this game with all the injuries.

Give it time. You'll rebound. Just as soon as you realize the hope you had in your team was a byproduct of a series of fluke events causing them to appear better than they were.

I'm glad I don't care nearly as much about pro sports as I do about college sports. I've been a Chiefs fan for over 20 years, since my dad passed on his fandom. I remember watching that Joe Montana win at Houston in the playoffs now 20 years ago. I was looking forward to putting that long playoff drought behind us.

But ah well, they deserve to lose for not forcing Indy to earn those scores in the second half. 5 TD's given up in the second half, even after getting Luck to throw 2 picks. You shouldn't win games like that anyway.

I'm glad Iowa State didn't do something like this to me, I'd be fuming. I was way more torqued when ISU lost to Mizzou in 2004 and KU in 2005. This? Meh.

Surely a Chiefs fan should be used to losing already?

But you could cover any logos with red duct tape and you've go yourself some solid Cyclone gear.

Pretty much, KC was a paper tiger this year. Not mad or shocked by the loss though.

Team with a largely unchanged roster from a 2-14 year.

Team playing a 2-14 schedule.

Team that went 1-5 (now 1-6) vs. playoff teams.

Chiefs fans didn't want to hear any of that all season. But it was true. Without major roster upgrades, they won't sniff 11 wins next year.

It was a nice year for them, but everyone outside of KC knew they had a ceiling. I'll give them credit though, they got every last inch possible out of that team.
