Anybody going to UO game in Athens, OH

Will be making our way down from Columbus and looking forward to meeting up with fellow Clones
I have degrees from both these fine institutions so will be there for sure. I crawled all over the Cyclones.com web site looking for tickets in the ISU section, to no avail. (Probably never looked in the right place.) Had to get them through the OU athletics web site., so will be surrounded by Bobcat fans, but will be looking for Cyclone red.

I'll be there.
Planning on Jackie Os Friday night.
Have a tailgate spot lined up already in the Pepsi "Tailgreat" area next to stadium.

Hard to go wrong with JO's. Little Fish Brewing is also a great place.

They were never available to us low level folks. I called day of ticket sales and the ISU ticket office said to buy from Ohio.

Does Ohio sell out? I’ve watched some maction games where it looked like you could just buy the cheapest ticket possible and then pick your seat of empty sections when you got in. I love my Cyclones, but I’m sure we’re not a super sexy matchup in their eyes.

I was born near Athens ages ago, but Donkey Coffee is a nice place to get caffeinated while you are there. Court Street is college party/debauchery central.

I would love to go. Lots of in-laws in the area. Going to Madison to watch Georgia Southern shock the Big 10 . . . again.

The last time that I went to an Iowa State game in Ohio, I won the stadium's 50/50 raffle at Akron.

Hope one of you carries on that tradition!

Hard to believe our ticket office was out.

Been to tons of MAC games. You are right. If you stay out of the obvious season ticket areas the rest of the stadium is pretty much GA.

This reminds me of the Akron game in '17. A buddy and I bought advanced tickets for like $10-15 a pop. When we went to will call, there was like a 200 person line that wasn't moving. We just said to hell with it and walked up to the game day sales window and bought 2 more tickets and just found a nice spot to sit in the upper deck of the east side.

And they sold Yuengling in there!

I went the last time Iowa State played at Ohio. Nice looking campus. Town is kind of in the middle of nowhere. Stadium is small and is great for watching a game. Lots of Iowa State fans there last time. Game day in Ames has a much different feel than game day at Ohio.

I liked going to Ohio better than my trips to Toledo and Northern Illinois.
