Do we have any visitors in town this weekend?
Has anyone heard if Zavier Gooden is still visiting now that he's verbaled to Missou???
By the looks of things, we will be 18 commits going into the last week of recruiting....we need about 7 commits and i've heard on this board that we have at least two other commits thats not been reported yet.....

We should be looking at 5-6 commits depending on if LJ stays or heads to Ole Miss or Michigan....I hope he stays, with him and Benton and Land in our secondary, we have the building blocks of a great secondary if they live up to billing. With the losses of Grant, King, Edwards, and any other lineman i've missed, i think we need at least 1-2 more commits in this area. Wouldnt be surprised with two out of the following three names:

Blake is a newcomer to our potential recruits, but, its interesting that he's an all state center in Texas and has no big time offers. Size may be an issue, but, with a frame of 6-2,6-3 thats really a good size for a center keeping center of gravity low so those strong nose guards cant get leverage underneath them.
Thats just my take on the line. I'll be interested to see where Adrin Haughton plays should everything work out....natural size for a shut down type DT, but he's also athletic for a big man, could play guard.
Our two lines would look great if all the recruits had stayed.....Hope Chiz pulls something out of his hawkeye.....:wideeyed:
