Any recruiting news?

So far the new staff hasn't talked to those that have verballed so I wouldn't expect any new recruits to appear until at least next week. The staff should be finalized soon and their first and biggest priority will be hitting the JUCO ranks hard, as well as the regular recruiting trail. I would anticipate a ton of JUCOs this year and next to get some energy into the program. Then we would have a decent enough foundation to build around. In football it really takes more time to develop relationships with recruits so I think a two year start is probably pretty close to what it would take to get good recruits into Ames.
