Biggest train wreck ever it's not going to be. No season where we make the NCAA Tourney is a trainwreck.
Go rewatch our McDermott years then tell me again that this season where we have been top 15 the entire year may be remembered as biggest train wreck ever
That's yet to be seen. If we finish the regular season 3-2, lose in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament, and lose early in the NCAA Tournament, it will definitely be seen as a train wreck season after starting the season ranked in the Top 10.

I'll take a team that can play and beat ANYONE in the country even if losing close games over a team that has not shot in hell against good teams and are lucky to sniff the NIT.
We blew the Big 12 regular season. No way to sugar coat it. We're in the driver's seat or at least contending if we close games. We didn't. All we can do is get some good mojo going into March.

Sounds like a step in the right direction. I remember 3 or 4 player only meetings Kane's year.
I wish we could give some posters on CF a blanket party instead.
These are pretty routine at this point. It's not likely to spur some magical run, but it's a good way for the leaders of the team to keep everyone in line.
Maybe they should stop thinking they need "players only" things and start listening to the ******* coaches a little.
It is always good to make sure you are communicating with each other. I see it as a positive and probably wanted to emphasize that this is it. This is the stretch run and they need to keep focused and get a little better every day headin into the tourney.
Rumor has it that this players only meeting was called to plan the after season party. Gotta get going if they are going to book their preferred date at the country club.
