Scary-good? Absolutely. Am I ready to hand over the AL crown and World Series championship yet? Not quite (and I'm not even saying this out of my Twinkie bias). Considering how many wild card teams have made it to the World Series (some even winning) lately, nothing's for certain when October rolls around...

what gets me is that they really didn't give up much for him either. Unless the minor league pitcher is awesome, Kotchman isn't that glamorous.

Kotchman was considered a top prospect while he was in the minors, and some still see him as someone with a high ceiling.
