The Chicago Bulls select....Guard Rashad Vaughn UNLV Running Rebels

My guess is Fred asks to personally announce who he is drafting.

Walks up to the podium...

"With the 22nd pick of the 2015 NBA Draft, the Chicago Bulls select...RASHAD

*Flips off the camera*

Delon Wright, Utah"

And with the ____ pick in the 2016 draft, the Bulls pick Cheick Diallo. Hoiberg actually does get his 5 star, blue chip recruiting targets after all.

Draft Rashad let him rot on D-league roster for his whole rookie contract.

I hope the Bulls do take Vaughn because he's going to be a bust. Watching several UNLV games this year.... he is not very good. Decent offensively at times when he wants to be, but is just awful defensively. Would fit Hoiball perfectly I guess, but will get destroyed in the NBA.

And yes, they do play defense in the NBA. That is a myth that they don't. They play very tough defense, especially in the playoffs. There are guys in the NBA that would eat Vaughn alive, and therefore he would have to sit on the bench because he can't guard anyone.

A 19 year old freshman playing for a bad coach wasn't playing NBA level defense? I'm shocked. Most rookies suck on defense when they come into the league, learning how to defend at that level is part of the development process.

Makes sense now: Fred goes to the NBA to draft Vaughn, whom he forces to the bench as the ultimate revenge.

As plausible as a lot of stuff being said right now. :jimlad:

Vaughn is going to be a "solid" pro, I picture a JR Smith/OJ Mayo type of career for him. Lots of bouncing around, moments of brilliance and moments of derp.

I like this channeling of anger to vaughn! Pick off an old scab to forget about the open wound.
