ESPN Woes

Since Feb. 24, 2001, ISU is 1-14 in games played on ESPN or ESPN2...the Cyclones have lost 10-straight games on ESPN...its last win in an ESPN televised game was a 79-77 win at No. 5 Kansas, Feb. 5, 2001.


If our last win was on 2/5/01, then wouldn't we be winless since 2/24/01 not 1-14?

No. The 1-14 record is a combined mark for ESPN and ESPN2. The Virginia game in Hilton was an ESPN2 game, hence the 1 victory. The last win on ESPN ("The Uno") was at Just Another Gym.

We've won games on ABC, which is now ESPN on ABC, most of those games are bigger games then games on ESPN
