NFL: Agreement between owners and players "80-85% complete"

Crossing my fingers, but it's looking good for a full season.

Some think an agreement can be reached in a matter of days.

It will be interesting to see how much each side gave up to get a deal done. I'm guessing the players gave more up then the owners.

Yeah I had read somewhere that a player said he would guess camp would begin by july 27. So this is good news

Schefter is reporting that several owners are resisting some elements of the deal being discussed now, but no names have been released. If I had to guess, I figure Robert Kraft, Mike Brown, Jerry Richardson, and Jerry Jones are probably all in that small group of opposition.
I think a deal is going to get done sooner than later (simply too much money at stake for both sides), but they've gotta keep the lawyers out of the room until all the basic details of the agreement are in place.
