1. Ku - believe they own it
2. ISU - homer says: defense travels
3. K-State - two significant roadies
4. TCU - big win in Waco, bigger loss at home
5. Texas - nice rebound at oSu
6. Baylor - better than 0-3
7. oSu - wins if horseshoes
8. TxT - stumbling along
9. OU - call the porter
10. WVU - call the mortician

Basis: what they've done + the eyeball test = how they finish

Seems about right so far

I'd put OU above Tech since OU just beat Tech in Lubbock. I may even put OU above OK State since OU has a road win under its belt. But since OSU took KU to the wire in Lawrence, it's a toss-up.

The fact that 9 of the last 10 Big XII games were won by the road team is bonkers.

I'd probably put K-State slightly above Iowa State just because their 2 road wins are a little stronger.

I'm going to the game February 18th in Manhattan, we should know alot more by then.

Hopefully ISU has an 8th conference win by then so everything is just icing.

I'm not sure where to rank everyone, ISU and KSU are overachievers. There are just a lot of good teams.

I do know one thing. TJ needs to share with CMC his secret for winning close games. I find no comfort in all our football near wins. I mean, yay!!! We were one of the best 4-win teams! ....... Nope, I feel nothing.

When force ranking for salary treatment, I was not allowed to have ties, thus the choice of either ISU or K-State. Reality is, there's nothing much to choose between them. Someone has to unseat Ku head-to-head. ISU gets first shot.

Texas still didn't look good at OSU. I would put them below TCU. OSU had Cisse out and their shooters weren't playing well. Even without Cisse they held Texas offense in check.

Also, if Batcho and Isaacs are out for Tech, ISU has to win that game, which I expect they will.
Isaacs is really good. One of the many good Freshman in the league this year.

Top 3 looks right, so this seems OK.

I would agree. ISU and KSU virtually interchangeable. I'd probably throw Texas and TCU in with them as well, but everyone got out of the Lone Star State with wins.

I think Tech is better than 9, but OU did beat them and should be ranked ahead. That being said, watch us lose to them Tuesday.

Kansas must be destroyed.

This should be the year to get Ku (where have I read that before?). They're relying heavily on a freshman, GDick. There's not the customary strength in the post. And they're coming off a natty. Time to dethrone.
