ABC12 (Flint) Monte Morris vid

Awesome video. Fred & Staff have done an amazing job at going out and getting kids that are natural leaders. Love it!

Good video. Background music was kinda dumb. That Flint coach seemed like a cool dude

He looks a little like the last two #11's that played point guard for us.

Gotta love how Fred is recruiting not only good players, but guys who seem like stand up individuals as well. I'm proud to have these guys represent us as Cyclones

I can't remember where I saw it, but read a story about Morris probably 6 months ago. His coach wouldn't let the team where brand name socks since not everybody could afford them. Monte went out and bought everyone on the team matching Nike socks.

Our recent recruits have a pretty good reputation when it comes to character. Starz and Offerz too.

Niang - leader and class president
Naz Long - leader/ character
SDW - valedictorian and funny guy (supposedly)
Thomas - rarely ever RTs gushing praise or talks himself up.
Morris - leader and team guy.

Character...Pass it on

Seems like many of those highlights he is unguarded...seems odd. But what a talent... That spin move was better than I imagined it could be... Whew wee!

Nice find, thanks for posting. Really looking forward to having him in the Cardinal and Gold.

And the vid answered a question I had for a while, his nickname. "Man Man".
Man Man passes to Matty Ice for 3...

That'll do just fine.

Love the fact that Fred think Morris is still growing. He could end up being a decent-sized PG.

Also - the touch pass WOOO-WEEE!!!... IMO its underutilized. It does take a guy with good hands though...

Great hands, plus great vision, plus great instincts, plus great court awareness. It is a great tool, but not everyone can do it.
