I’m sitting here watching the A-Team on MeTV. This episode has Hulk Hogan, the principal from The Breakfast Club, William the Refrigerator Perry, and some other pseudo famous actors I can’t name but recognize. Is the A-Team the greatest action comedy ensemble show ever created? Probably.

One of my favorite episodes. Just a murderers row of 80s talent.

What season and episode is that?

Edit: Disregard, I found it. Streaming now...

I love it when a plan comes together.

Accused of a crime they didn't commit.....how is this not a super cool reboot by now??

You beat me to the Hannibal quote.

They did a movie, with Liam Neeson i think. Wasnt great iirc.

No show fired more bullets from automatic weapons with zero injuries. Absolute stormtrooper levels of accuracy.

And the guys who wrote the theme song had a ton of stuff you'd know.

Rockford Files
Hunter
Law and Order
Greatest American Hero
Hill Street Blues

Hunter. Now there's an underappreciated masterpiece too

Now I know how I'm spending my Tuesday night now. :)

Channels like MeTV are pretty great.

After all these years it's fun to see how well those eras were parodied elsewhere.
Like was there really that much wah pedal guitar effects and trumpet used throughout different scenes?

Chips: Yes. Yes there was.

I just watched A&E biography on Wrestlmania mania 1. Mr T had a wrestling persona even before he was in wrestling. The 80’s were epic in every way

I wish I had been older in the 80's, I was born in late 1980 so I was ages 1-9 in the 80's.

Every episode was required to include the following:
1. Some poor townspeople needing help to defend themselves against some bad guys. Did i mention they have no money to pay the ATeam for their services?
2. Murdock displaying a funny quirk (acting like a duck, speaking like he's Irish, acting like a ship captain, or some other nonsense) that only lasts the duration of the episode and gets on BA's nerves.
3. The team having to fly somewhere and needing to knock out BA due to his fear of flying.
4. One of the local girls falling in love with Faceman.
5. Hannibal slowly putting a cigar in his mouth while smiling.
6. Bad guys trap the A Team in a barn or shed full of equipment (including metal planks and welding gear) they can use to build some MadMax-esque machine.
7. Only BA is man enough to weld while Murdock comes to bother him while he works.
8. They bust out of the shed/barn riding said machine which shoots watermelons, pumpkins, ears of corn, or whatever else was available.
9. A grenade will send bad guys flying through the air in slow motion and a car will inevitably go off some ramp and flip through the air as well.
10. Bad guys defeated, Faceman says his goodbyes to his romantic interest for the episode, townsfolk try to pay the A Team in watermelons, pumpkins, ears of corn, oranges, or whatever else they have but Hannibal will refuse.
11. Murdock makes one final joke related to his quirk for this episode, everyone laughs, and they leave town in their van.
12. Military shows up and the townspeople will either not cooperate or give them wrong directions of where the A Team was headed.
13. Roll credits.

This is every episode. Still a fun show, but damn if they REALLY didn't want to fix what was not broken.
