A.J. Klein has a Football Card!

Panini? There's a sports card company named after a pressed italian sandwich?

Congrats to AJ, although he kinda looks like a goober in that pic...not calling him a goober, there has to be better pictures of him out there.

Panini bought out some other card companies (at least one...Fleer or Donruss?). They made the awesome sticker books back in the 80s.

Panini owns the name of all the Playoff, Leaf, and Donruss brand products.

I'm glad to see him get a card because a lot of our late round guys never do get one (Dobbins and Rubin as examples).

I hope Klein has a Panini Contenders autographed rookie card.

Panini was huge in Europe (and I believe still is). As a long time football/soccer fan, I still have 1986 World Cup sticker book that they made.

So...hate to bump a really old thread, but any collectors know what this card might be worth? I cannot find one for sale anywhere and it seems his cards are rare. I'm a collector so I have a general idea on a card like this normally, but because there are so few floating around, wondered if anyone had any insight.

Doesn't the /25 indicate there are only 25 made.

I'll give you $3.50.

Yes. Typically with players there will be tons of cards made, numbered in different series. In Klein's case there were very few lines with his card, plus it's /25.
