Insanely dominant that year. Turned into a train wreck real fast, which continued to win 12-14 games a year despite that 2nd Lombardi alluding them.

Had a stretch of 6 games where they gave up 27 points, and the defense scored 27 as well....musta been a few safeties I guess. Beat every NFC team that was in the playoffs in 85...and by beat I mean slaughtered.

And gave up 10 points total in the playoffs all in the Super Bowl, which they won by 36. Incredible.
 
Watching this brings back memories. Was only 5 at the time but with having a dad who was a Bears fan I did have a fondness for the Ditka era Bears.

3 were due to a Walter Payton fumble deep in Bears territory and the other 7 were scored on the back-ups in the Super Bowl. Starters really gave up zilch.
