Pollard announced this facility on the Cydline show tonight. This is a big deal! The largest single athletics investment in university history. Does anyone have a link to the Cydline show? What do we know about this facility?

Probably smart to do it now. Even after our stadium and locker room/weight room additions we were behind most of the big dogs. Keep investing and the program will be come elite.

Sounds like this has been part of Campbell's vision since getting here. My guess it that it ends up being similar to Missouri and Arkansas's projects. Most likely will involve bowling in the end zone just enough to make up the hillside capacities and then added suites with outdoor / indoor seating that you see getting built across the country. Then move the existing scoreboard up on top and you have yourself a totally revamped Jack Trice.

My one and only MUST is a new pressbox but I am guessing that will not be part of this project since so much money will go into the football offices / facilities below and behind the stands.

SIAP, but did Pollard give a timeline for starting and completed this project?

What a great day today has been for Cyclone fans. The game this weekend sucked major ass, but you can just feel something changing about this program, and the reworked contract and this project announcement just prove it. The process will still take time, but I couldn't be any more excited!

We need to do was CSU did with the New Belgium patio in the end zone, except get Templeton Rye to sponsor it. Also, get a Hickory Park restaurant for good measure.
With all the dilly dilly bud light pub we've gotten I think we are in. Wouldn't be my first choice but they do have the deepest pockets.

People keep throwing up mock ups of what they'd like to see, but I've heard Pollard talk about this a few times now and it doesn't sound to me much like a stadium upgrade. It sounds more like a general type of facilities upgrade near the stadium (replace Olsen building). The Jacobson building will still be there so I'm not sure how much it will change the the stadium look itself.

Can't find it now, but I remember Pollard saying it would completely change the look of the north end zone.
Anyone else remember this or know where he said it?

Everything I've heard has the athletics performance center in the footprint of the Olsen building. The only thing that makes me doubt that now is the $75M number. Seems like a lot to be just in that footprint. Unless they made it about 6 stories tall, which would just be odd.
