I've read some things about there starting to be talk/papers about "redesigning" the game to get shot values closer to each other. I think it would be a good idea, but extremely hard to pull off. I miss post ups and the mid-range. I think analytics really did a number on the sport of baseball, but it doesn't have to be that way for basketball if they can be flexible.
