3 and out stats???

Last week I heard some ridiculous 3 and out stat for ISU... Something like we've only had 2 or 3 TOTAL 3 and outs this season which is at or near the top and just behind Clemson and OU?

I can't find any stat site where I can verify that. Did anyone else hear that and does anyone know a stat site that could be found?
 
It's been a common talking point every game. I can't find that stat per say, but I did see that we have the 3rd fewest 3rd downs. Behind Oklahoma at 8.8/game, Georgia at 9.8/game, and us at 10.2/game. The odd thing is the we are 89th in converting 3rd down. Which tells me we get a log of first downs on 1st or 2nd. We are the 12th highest scoring offense, thanks ULM.

I don't think you can ignore the ULM game when looking at our stats. Every team has played bad defenses. We have played 3 good defensive teams too with Iowa, TCU and Baylor.

This team is showing signs of being maybe the best offense in Iowa State history.

we were second before last week, and since we didn't get any more, i have to think we might be first now.
 
Back in my day the description of the offense was up the middle, up the middle, up the middle, punt! At least I think it was describing the offense...

I thought I heard the same complaint the first couple of years of CMC?
 
Two 3 and outs on the season. Breaking records offensively. Brock Purdy one of the highest rated QB's in the conference and making noise nationally.

Yet still reading articles how we're really struggling to replace DM and HB.
