Been waiting to see who they would pick this week. Sort of an odd selection IMHO considering both the Cyclone's Addy Brown and Longhorn's Madison Booker had bigger games and Booker's was against much better competition. I figured it was between those two.

Here's their stats from this weekend:

• Addy Brown 20 points 9 rebounds 5 assists (5 TO on the bad side)
• Audi Crooks 21 points 7 rebounds
• Madison Booker 25 points 7 rebounds 8 assists (5 TO on the bad side) vs top 10 Baylor

Brown remains the only top Big 12 freshman that has not won the weekly award.

Brown never having received it is crazy, but there are a bunch of outstanding freshmen this year
