28 years ago today....where were you?

2 days away from my 2nd birthday, probably in my grandparents house that we lived in while my parents house was being built.
Probably playing with friends outside, oblivious to this even occurring
Fort Leonard Wood, we thought the drill sergeants were trying to trick us. Next week we all started to get mail from family with the newspaper articles.
Less than one month into working for my current employer, and driving 90 miles one way back and forth while working 10 hour days. Not sure I even saw it live.
Not sure precisely where, but enjoying my last summer before kindergarten. Probably playing in my backyard in the treehouse or sandbox, shooting hoops, or playing with the puppy my parents had got me for my 5th birthday. She only lived a few months longer, unfortunately.
Remember the news breaking over the radio when my family was out running an errand. Rushed home to watch it live on our TV.
Blending two homes, two garages, a shop, 9 vehicles, 3 tween/teenage boys, 4 cats and 3 dogs into one 3 bdr house with a 2-car garage.

It was Houston vs. somebody in the NBA finals. I was a big Olajuwan fan and remember being annoyed that the game was being interrupted.
It was the Knicks Im pretty sure

I was with some friends for drinks & food at a bar in Minneapolis (pretty sure it was Liquor Lyle's, Uptown). (I had lived in TCs but moved the previous year, returned to reconnect). TV in a corner of the room had the game on, probably with sound off or low, we paying only casual attention to the game ... eventually we noticed the highway pursuit on-screen and wondered WTF is going on?
A big thunderstorm had just rolled through NW IA. We were at a small town carnival and had to hurry home because of the storm. We got home and turned the TV on right as the NBA finals got interrupted to cover the chase.
