Pollard said before the Texas game that he wished we could wear black. So I’m guessing he’s cool with the blacks in 2 weeks.

The only weird thing is it’s a day game. Why isn’t the big 12 championship at night?

They are not irrelevant. It's just not worth gettting in a tizzy about. Oregon wore a uniform last weekend that had no green or yellow either, and life went on.

there is a difference between painting your living room based and remodeling your entire house. uniforms are temporary and not really important in the cannon of a school's history and traditions.

same logic applies to team name and mascot; whomever the team and coach identifies is the preference.
But, if we are going to wear black, I would prefer we jazz it up a bit, with more pop - those matte black w white is plain boring. Nike must be giving us the cost-saving models.

Agree having white helmet for that contrast of OU red lid. OU would be Crimson-White-White, so WCC would be cool. I'm trying to recall when we last used that? I'm quite certain it happened twice, but for some reason can't pinpoint which games.

Pollard was quoted that letting Campbell wear all blacks is cheaper than paying him an extra $2 million raise. So I'm guessing Pollard has given him free reign to choose whatever he wants to wear... Just win baby. Jamie is smart and he's getting outta the way.... at the end of the day, uniforms don't matter. It's trophies/titles.
