I have a client who is a hunting guide, his November - January are booked solid with businesses bringing customers/clients/employees on hunting trips. And his rate isn't cheap. Most of his business comes from Pennsylvania and New Yorkers.

Because only one thing counts in this life!
Get them to sign on the line which is dotted!
A-B-C.
A-always,
B-be,
C-closing.
Always be closing! Always be closing!
A-I-D-A. Attention, interest, decision, action.
Attention: do I have your attention?
Interest: are you interested? I know you are 'cause it's f--k or walk. You close or you hit the bricks!
Decision: have you made your decision for Christ?!
And Action. A-I-D-A.

Get out there! You got the prospects comin' in. You think they came in to get out of the rain? A guy don't walk on the lot lest he wants to buy. They're sitting out there waiting to give you their money! Are you gonna take it? Are you man enough to take it?
What's your name?

**** you! That's my name.

I know you are an accountant, what changed in the tax code then if it doesn't disallow this? My accountant told me for my 2018 return that the entertainment expenses were no longer deductible such as taking clients out for meals.

If this is still allowable I will happy to take advantage of it still.

Technically they aren't allowed, but realistically they are just being put in other expense categories such as advertising or even COGs.
