There’s a good chance iowa will start 5 white guys next year. Think of that, five white starters at a P6 school. Will Fran be suspended? That seems more blatantly racist than what Dolph said.
I see Moss still starting next season and Cook certainly will if he stays around.
Yeah, that is something weird. We went through that with Fennelly what, 10 years ago? Dirty awful recruiting against us ensued. It really sucks what has happened with our society that was moving toward civility is now actually moving away from it.

I haven't read every post, but, was the player ( the "King Kong" rebound guy) offended by the remark? King Kong is a big strong powerful beast. Not a bad thing.
So if I grabbed a rebound, the announcer might say Larry went after that like a bull elephant! I would find that complimentary. The only way it is offensive is if I perceive myself as fat with a long nose and big floppy ears and so I believe I look like an elephant and the announcer was making fun of my looks. But I don't look like an elephant and so the only inference I can make is that I rebounded like a bull elephant, a big strong powerful beast. I would be offended only by the people suggesting I should be offended by the announcer's description of me.
