I live in Des Moines and this is how we identify people from northern Iowa.

I'm more worried about the guy with the sunglasses perched on the bill of his cap.
He kinda has a Spock thing going on there.
When I was a kid my dad cut my hair and he shaved it on the sides and left it a little longer on the top - combed straight forward with bangs. He called it "The Caesar"...
In Jr High he tried to talk me into wearing a flat top... As my hair grew out a little he then tried to talk me into slicking it back with Brylcream - ala Elvis. Neither happened.
And they wondered why I grew a ponytail in high school...

I remember some guys in my class when I was in 3rd - 4th grade in NW Iowa having their heads buzzed all around and just bangs on their forehead.
And what's wrong w/ sunglasses guy? I don't carry a case with me so mine always end up in that position (except flipped upside down).

I'm pretty sure he's not wearing them over his eyes. That would be a little odd, indeed. I wear hats a lot (with the bill forward) and always have sunglasses on me because my eyes are more sensitive to light than most. Dude probably wore them from his car to Hilton, took them off, and not having a case, put them on his hat. That's what I would be doing.
