North America just won a bid to host the 2026 World Cup over Morocco!

City sites will need to get sorted out still, but this is great news for soccer fans.

Hopefully Arrowhead in KC can make the list.

Since we are hosting, I do believe we automatically qualify, but since three countries are hosting, not sure how that will work.

That US list will be narrowed down to 10, so not all of those cities will get games.

I honestly had no idea that was the case. I guess that is how we have to roll with American Soccer. Just host it so we make it everytime.

Are you sure this is accurate? If so, wouldn't it be advantageous for say all of Europe to co host and take 20 slots themselves?
