***2023 PGA Tour Thread***

6,900 maybe isn't crazy in-and-of itself. 6,900 for a Par 72 though? That's crazy short.

The John Deere is pretty much the easiest PGA tournament and it's a 7,300 Par 71.

Hell Coldwater plays almost 6800 from the tips and is Par 71.
Looking at their schedule it looks like the tournament after this one they play at 7400 yards as a par 71 and the one before in Orlando was 7300 yards par 71. That seems fairly standard.

Yeah this week should probably be a par 70 though.

Finau leads Rahm by 2 shots heading into the Final Round in Mexico. Rahm shot a 10 under 61 yesterday.

Finau gets 1.4 mil.
Raum gets 839k

For what I would call a 4th rate tournament. The money in golf is insane.

Rahm broke the record for money won in a season....it's April....

PGA money is off the charts since LIV started.

Black tees at Deere run are 7090 yds, par 71. I've played the week before the tour event. The rough was wicked and the greens were rock hard.

Good luck easy.

Played the day after the tournament. That rough man. It’s a special kind of thick, not just the height.

Anyone else love following US Open qualifiers? Iowa's local event is today at Glen Oaks, real tough sledding out there today in 35mph wind gusts. There are D1 golfers playing bogey golf, yikes.

Braeden Nelson who's at +1 right now is a high school freshman at Valley, crazy how good some of these kids are.

Looking at the Windy app currently a 22mph sustained wind at 55 degrees in the DSM area. Brutal.

I've been trying to get out and play for a couple weeks now and everyday that'd work we've had this ridiculous wind. I can't imagine how frustrating it'd be trying to compete in this.

Gusts have to up in the mid 30’s at least.

I tried to find it, but does the winner of this tournament automatically qualify for the US Open? Just one?
