Looks like Jay Monahan is going to have some work to do to keep his ship in order. Lots of quotes coming out from players who aren't real happy with Rory for skipping the RBC.

I get not going, being the week after a stressful Master's week, but it's not a good look considering he was pushing for the designated events and saying the players were "too soft" and then be the first to pull out of one.

And on a jealousy note, the man paid $3 million to NOT play golf this weekend.

I get it, but I also don't get how it impacts the guys that are there. Xander, Rickie and Dahmen have all not really hidden their frustration. But it's still an elevated event with a bigger purse, which is really all that should matter to them.

I haven't seen the quotes so I don't know what they're saying, but is it something like "you wanted these rules, we all have to come to these events now at your urging, and then you're the first one to skip out?" It probably doesn't affect them personally, just not a good look from Rory.

I tell ya, I've always rooted for Rory but he's certainly pissed some people off in the last 12 months.

In watching Rory play at the Masters, he body language looked off. Could have been his play, but is something physical or emotional going on?

Obviously fellow players might have some insight why Rory skipped, but as long as this is an isolated deal not sure why they would escalate this.

Jimmie Walker with a 3 shot lead after 2nd Round at Hilton Head. He had kind of disappeared the last couple years.

Rahm bounced back with a 64 today.

Oh boy... slow play Cantlay in the Final Group tomorrow. Matt Fitzpatrick leads him by a shot. Spieth 2 shots back.
