Hearing Brohm (former Purdue coach?) Is being targeted by Northwestern.

That sounds like a downgrade. Plus he's a Louisville grad.

He can build up the Cards to a top ACC team over the next few years and will have his choice of elite jobs.

He got out of Purdue at the right time.

They've at least looked respectable so he's certainly getting something out of the guys that Fritz wasn't. Probably couldn't reach for much better.

He was in Cedar Falls for a couple years and is a really good dude. Hope he can do something with the opportunity.

Absolutely wild to go from FCS coordinator to Big 10 head coach in one season.

Hard to argue with the results thus far though. I had the team written off long ago and now they're knocking on the door of a bowl game.

According to Michigan State rumors, northwestern was willing to throw a ton of money at Elko but he wouldn’t talk to them.

Michigan State fans are a hot mess right now.

I'm always highly skeptical of reports of interviewing during the season. However, this is one of those paydays that even the most grounded and ethical coaches could possibly make an exception for.

Especially a lower level coach.
