***2023-24 College Football Thread***

Finally looked at the weekend schedule just now. Not a lot of exciting stuff this weekend anyway. Navy/Notre Dame, Ohio/San Diego St and that's really the highlight of it. Who am I kidding though? I'll probably be tuned into FIU/LA Tech on Saturday night lol

Next Thursday (8/31) is when decent games start.

Florida vs Utah
Nebraska vs Minnesota

Utah should win but they have some QB injury issues lingering. NU vs MN should be a good test of how ****** the middle of the West will be.

Big excitement at NU is about which Husker players get to wear single digit uniforms. Rhule is allowing team to vote on which ten guys get to wear 0 through 9. Still 3 numbers unassigned. Oooo, I can't wait!

I'll be hopefully tuning in. Don't care who it is.

Navy/Notre Dame might be interesting. I'd like to see how Freeman does.

I was reading about Ohio earlier today. Their stud QB tore his ACL last fall (November).
They expect him to start. I'm gonna keep an eye on that one.

Didn’t know where else to put this

His 247 is crazy. Every offer out there.
2020 Enrolls at LSU, then transfer.
2021 Enrolls at Florida, then transfer.
2021 Enrolls at Georgia, then transfer.
2023 Enrolls at Nebraska, then cuffed.

At some point, it's a you problem.

Whose idea was it to put this turd in a Thursday primetime slot? First to 10 wins it.

UW-Stevens Point is on ESPN+ playing Lindenwood.

Lindenwood showing the difference between FCS and D3, up 49-0 just under 4:00 left in the first half.

Kinda crazy it's basically been 20 years since Leinhart and Quinn were the dudes of college football.
