Heck yeah it is. I like the 4th match too. I don’t care how “bad” the Brandel Chamblee’s of the world say Ian Poulter is nowadays. That dude LOVES this event.
I don’t know the answer to this particular question, but I did see the last time the US lost the opening foursomes session was 2006, or something. The boys get their clocks cleaned on the 2nd and 3rd sessions. Usually make up ground in singles, but most cycles, they have gotten their asses kicked so bad in the middle sessions, they can’t make it up.
I honestly just hope it’s close on Sunday and makes Sunday fun.
The US is considered a heavy, heavy favorite. They were in 2018 also, and got crushed.
No Bryson tomorrow morning kind of surprised me and then I realized how bad his play style would be in alternate shot
Yeah…he’s a singles guy. He’ll probably play four ball, but I wouldn’t want to play in that group.
I think they first teamed up in Paris in 2018. Went something like 2-1. Spieth had a really good run with Patrick Reed earlier in his Ryder Cup's. I don't blame him for voicing his opinion and wanting to play with a more comfortable partner.
The wind has been crazy all week and today…sunny and calm on Lake Michigan so far! I’m sure that won’t last.
Not a big golf guy but the Ryder Cup is must for me to follow. I honestly wasn’t too familiar with what it even was and then I fell into some tickets back when it was in Minnesota. That was one of the coolest events I’ve ever been too. I had zero clue how big of a deal it was. Let’s take back the cup boys!!!
I feel like the more windy it is, the more that plays in favor of the Europeans.
