Let them bring the heaters and have them on their sideline. Now if they don't list and get prior approval for the exact brand, grade and composition of the fuel for those heaters, they are denied fuel. Even better if they can look at the heaters and not use them.

How about the cajones to schedule homecoming for the Oklahoma weekend. Campbell is not afraid of anyone.

With the thursday game it may have just been the best option available unless they went into november or scheduled an early homecoming in september. KSU would probably otherwise have been homecoming.

I like how this year's calendar sets up to only allow one bye week but the Thursday night game after the bye week gives something of a bye week after.

Game Sat 17th,
11 days off,
Game Thur 29th,
8 days off,
Game Sat 7th.

For your first statement, I was just thinking exactly the opposite. Since the last weekend in August is technically our first bye, the team still starts practice a month before the first game, right? So...we lose a week’s practice time across the entire season compared to teams that play an August game?

As far as Brocktober, I like the progression of KU, an OSU team that should be a bit depleted, both ramping up to OU at home (and for Homecoming)—then additional time to recuperate and get back on emotional balance after a huge win before playing K-State.

And that Thursday game means nine days before playing TCU. That works.

Week 1 is always Labor Day weekend, which is Sept. 3-6 in 2020. Games in week 0 require waivers/exemptions.

There is only one open week in 2020 because the calendar has rolled over.

Practice can start no more than 29 days before the team's first game.
