Interesting article and I can see some truth in it. That said, having alphabet soup in the middle makes a pretty big difference on both ends of the floor and is quite a step up from half a year of Holden/Bowie and half a year of freshman Solo.
 
Newell does a pretty good job. For a Kansas media guy, he's pretty fair.
