Not a whole lot is clear about the rest of the class on the size or who the staff is looking for at this point. So far the class is at 17. I expect the class to finish at around 22. Which leaves five spots.

1) a wide reciever who is 6'0 to 6'4 there is a lot of target options

2) a running back and personally i would like to get jeremy banks

3) another defensive end maybe Azur kamara or john Waggoner?

4)another offensive lineman with top target joey ramos

5) some other need like a juco QB, OL, safety, WR, or LB

1. They have plenty of good WR targets and 2 solid commits already.
2. Jeremy Banks or somebody unknown around signing day.
3. John Waggoner isn't happening.
4. Ramos and his teammate are key targets.
5. Current staff will always shop the grad transfer market and late JUCOs.

I would say they work hard to get Ramos and Jeshaun Jones. After that, Banks is probably a longshot with the big names popping up on his offer list. The staff already filled the spots for the departing DL guys, and have two solid LB coming in.

I'm guessing they just work hard on those guys, look for a grad transfer or JUCO QB and try to poach the best guys they can to fill it out.

Where are the scholarships coming from for ISU? Must anticipate several players leaving.

Campbell's classes have been pretty darn consistent. You don't see much overstretch (ahem, Nebraska) and there is a very solid bottom line. The staff is pretty comfortable going after the right kids and then develop them once they get into the program. What will be interesting is if some consistent winning starts to bring in higher level recruits...

From what I've heard... 1) He's had a less than stellar senior season.. 2) There was also talk of him slow playing teams in hope of a Notre Dame offer that just hasn't come
I've seen many of his games and have seen film on others. He's looked great to me. He has such power, a great frame and keeps his pads low. I think the Notre Dame thing was created. Good kid and can't imagine we would not welcome him with open arms.

Watched him play Ankeny... He definitely come off the ball slow but bull rushed his way into the back field on most plays.

Does not jump off the page athletically but appears to be a solid player. Probably a little over ranked.

Would still love to have him. Reminds me a little of Shawn Moorhead

I think the top 5 priorities should be
  1. OL
  2. OL
  3. DL
  4. OL
  5. OL

Not that the staff isn't already trying to make every area of the team better. But I really do hope they have urgency to improve the OL for next season. If that means finding Grad Transfers or JUCO's, so be it. We need better starters and more depth. A potentially new QB, and one of the best RB's in the country, we need a better OL to really take the next step.

If we could get another DE that d-line could be really good. I'm a little worried about depth at LB and OL.
