Packer fan and owner here. Any other Packer's fans think it's time to cut bait with Mike? Has a head coach ever done less with more? Handed Farve and Rodgers and same stuff week in and out. As an owner I keep emailing the board of directors but they don't reply. :( :p

Absolutely. McCarthy's done great things while he's been in GB, but even good NFL coaches have a shelf life. I view it as similar to Philly cutting ties with Andy Reid.

I didn't even watch today's game. Worked outside instead of suffering through another game. And yes McCarthy needs to go.

Yes. McCarthy should be gone after this season along with Capers. It won't fix everything but we aren't going anywhere as long as the two of them stay in Green Bay

Having Aaron Rodgers as your starting QB will be awfully attractive to any possible head coaching candidate. And yes I am on board with letting McCarthy go. Have been a fan of that since the NFC Championship debacle in Seattle. You don't play not to lose in a championship caliber game.

The only question is who do they target?

Panthers DC Sean McDermott is a name that's rumored to be in line for a HC gig soon. Would be good to get a defensive mind to fix the defense, and let him find a competent OC that can revamp the offense with Rodgers and company.

Maybe Mike Smith would be worth a look?

Not a Packers fan...they're just not very good.

There's some sort of disconnect internally and both sides of the ball are overrated.

You all are just begging for millerforest to come back and flap his gums that "he should have been fired years ago." So much so he wanted him fired the year the Packers won the Super Bowl.

Despite the end of last year and start of this year, I wasn't truly on the fire McCarthy bandwagon until this last 3 game stretch. They've looked awful. Offense is stale and predictable, defense has never looked good during his tenure (maybe minus the 2010 Super Bowl season) and even special teams lately has been laughable. Rodgers has been struggling no doubt, but he still has a hell of an arm and I would hate to see him waste away his last few good years with this same staff.

Sad thing is, the NFC North has been so bad this year that they are still only a game out of first and still play DET and MIN to end the year. Part of me wishes they don't even make the playoffs otherwise I don't think any real changes are going to be made.
