I work in Marshalltown, but live in Ankeny. People always say the drive must suck, I always reply that it sucks less than living in Marshalltown.

I've always thought of Marshalltown as two different towns, the north side and the side south. Kind of like east and west Germany.
Yeah there are some on the northwest and west sides but for the most part, north and south of the tracks are two different towns.
