117 holes of golf in 48 hours

That's how I spent my weekend.

Holy crap that's a lot of golf! I did 54 holes in a day when I was a kid, and then went home and puked my guts out from being overheated.

I played 18 at Beaver Creek on Saturday and it was too freaking hot, too freaking busy, and we got paired up with 2 guys who smoked a carton's worth of cigarettes over the course of 18 holes. We played behind a group of guys playing best ball format and only one of them could hit the ball over 150 yards at a time. The ranger spent the day in the shade chatting on his cell phone, even while you're trying to hit and you can hear him. And the worse offense of all--the cart girl was just average. Not a great golf weekend.

When I rediscovered golf, I chose to played 54 holes in one day. The next day I had to take care of my blisters. That day I missed a hole in one by four inches on a par three. That was the closest that I ever came.....

On a side note, my arms would really, really hurt after golfing that much in a weekend.
