$100 million theme park coming to Waterloo.

The picture of the people attending the theme park is incorrect. The picture should show overweight people with at least four tattoo's...at least that is what I saw the last time I went to Adventureland.
ps...I only have three tattoos so I can judge

Yikes, that is not good news for Adventureland Park in Altoona. We've been to their Lost Island RV Park and the water park and they are very well done and are top-notch developments.
The Bertch Family is going to knock this out of the park. Everything they do it top notch. Pretty amazing for a guy that started out building cabinets in his garage.
Going to be an incredibly nice area with the Water Park, the Theme Park and the casino right there. Should be made even better as its rumored that the casino is putting in an ampitheater/events center to attract larger shows.

Never been to Lost Island waterpark but have been curious to try it out. For those who have been there and to Adventureland's waterpark, how do they compare?
It's really exciting news. The Bertch family are smart and seem to do everything the right way. Makes perfect sense as an organic growth of their very successful Waterpark. Great destination with location relative to population centers in the state as well as out of state..
The atmosphere seems better to me. The tropical theme seems to come out better.
I remember another guy like that. Started out with a flea circus. Look how far he went.
Lost Island is considerably better
Mind you it’s been years since I’ve been to Lost Island but I found them to be comparable. Neither were particularly special.
Lost Island has a pretty solid national reputation.
I've done both and Lost Island is considerably better and considerably cleaner.
