    If you wanted to know if there was football coaching news, you needed to be in elementary school today. That is where I get all my info. (And not from a Campbell kid) We’ll see how much we can believe 8 year olds.

    Hey, gotta pay for ISU somehow! May as well cash in on her contribution! She has always worn her Gilbert softball clothes on campus (because it makes up 1/3 of her clothing options) but now she is getting comments on it.

    There will be a story on the softball team tomorrow (Wed) on KCCI 10pm news. The girls will have on their shirts (which were made this summer—not sure if Campbell had extras or if they did a quick reprint).

    Sorry, didn’t see this. We tried to start at 500 for 15min but also had to mess around with thermometer placement so lost a lot of heat out of the oven. Brought it back up to 500 for a few more minutes, then down to 325. Have found 15min @ 500 then down to 325 works best for our oven.

    Ours was 8.5lbs, did it in the oven (didn’t need the oven for anything else). We probably did not need one that big, but have enough for another meal now.

    Actually, there are at least two widows on their half block. It really is the social place to be, they sit out in a driveway every night in their chairs and talk. Once a month they get together for food/drinks—this summer it has been out in the circle instead of in someone’s house.

    We are trying to get as many games in as we can which is great, but we end the season with some tough teams. Moving conferences next year puts us in the hardest softball conference, gonna be brutal next year. We have 7 games before regionals.
