    It was disappointing to hear the frustration in Heft’s voice during the early second half, but there were things that I took away from the game that make me excited for Saturday’s game. It should be the best crowd in Hilton that we have seen for quite some time.

    At this point I am not judging them. There is just something about him that feels forced or awkward that sometimes makes me want to switch the channel. I do think that without giggles that Miller will be better/ not so depressing.

    From the highlight videos I have seen it looks like they run a spread offense. I imagine they would have to as they most likely wouldn't have the athletes to consistenly run a pro-style, thinking mostly lineman.

    As mentioned before, a D-back went streaking off the field to avoid 12 men. I don't think there was a safety on that side of the field, therefore no help. The big thing I saw was that the team kept fighting back as TT kept scoring. They didn't give up and that is an improvement in itself!

    Grubs in yard

    I also am having grub issues. In fact I am having a little larger problem than you guys have described. I know have racoons laying my sod back to get to the grubs. Now a 12x12 section of my back yard has been completely destroyed. I really hope this Bayer product is the solution.

    I don't think it is just you Matt. It seems that this fan base (my opinion is mostly based on this website) is extremely sensitive to any media member being critical of Iowa State. To be honest it makes us look pathetic.
